Rapping Used to Prepare Airline Passengers for Takeoff?
Southwest Airlines’ David Holmes says he has a non-traditional approach for his passengers. If other airlines adopted this strategy, I would actually pay attention.

Dude I just flew Southwest and they are amazing as far as customer relations!! At the end of one flight, the attendant said “Ok, get your stuff and get out!” LOL She was obviously joking and everyone on the plane laughed, and it just made for a good end to a good flight. On the next one, the flight attendant engaged us passengers in a “stretching” activity and ended with “Now bend over and touch your toes, and while you’re down there please feel free to pick up any trash you may have dropped below your seat. Your lovely flight crew doubles as the cleaning crew once you leave, so please help us out!” Again everyone laughs. Whatever they are doing over there at Southwest, I’m a fan!

I’m afraid of heights, and the first time I flew, I was nervous as hell [almost passed out] but I landed safely in Jersey City. Good to see that hip-hop influence has made it to American airlines! A good reason to love hip-hop? I see the potential!
